Vienna / Graz, on the 4th of April, 2014 – Each year the Kleine Zeitung recognizes the best companies in the Steiermark, awarding the PRIMUS prize in four categories. The MIDES company, which specializes in repairing ultrasound probes, triumphed over more than 20 competitors and was awarded the PRIMUS prize in the category of “sustainability”. The awards were presented at a formal gala event held on the 3rd of April in the Helmut List Hall in Graz.
The Primus Award was first conceived and realized in 2007 by the Kleine Zeitung as a business award that recognizes selected Styrian companies for their outstanding achievements. This year, companies were able to compete in four categories: courage, sustainability, corporate culture and inspiration. The category winners were announced yesterday at the end of a festive gala that took place in the Helmut List Hall in Graz. Approximately 400 members of the domestic entrepreneur scene, including distinguished guests, seized the chance to take part in this exclusive gala evening, hosted by ORF presenter Claudia Reiterer.
“We’re overjoyed to have received this unique award and hope that other companies follow our example by placing more reliance on sustainable business concepts – because they pay definitely off,” said Mides CEO, Norbert Minarik, commenting on the category award.
